Your faith is welcome in this room.
Space to explore meaning, belief, doubt, and identity — with your values respected, never questioned.
For many people, faith is not one topic among others — it's the framework everything else sits inside. Yet it's often the part left out of therapy, either because it feels too personal or because of a fear the therapist will treat belief as a symptom to be examined.
Here, your beliefs and practices are treated as a source of strength and meaning, not something to be analyzed away. Whether you want support that fits your faith, are wrestling with doubt or guilt, feel caught between your religious community and your own conscience, or are rebuilding after a painful religious experience — all of it belongs in the room.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is not to hand down answers or tell you who to be — it is to offer a genuine, accepting, non-judgmental relationship where you feel safe enough to be fully honest with yourself. You set the direction and the pace; evidence-based tools are offered when they serve you, never imposed.
Does any of this sound familiar?
- Do you keep your faith out of conversations about your mental health?
- Are you afraid a therapist would treat your beliefs as a problem?
- Do you feel guilt for struggling, as though faith should have prevented it?
- Are you caught between your community's expectations and your own conscience?
- Are you searching for meaning after loss or a major change?
If you found yourself nodding along, that is not a diagnosis — it is information. You don't need the right words or a clear goal to begin. A safe, non-judgmental space is waiting for you to think out loud — and you decide what we explore, and how fast we go.
What you can expect.
Respected, not analyzed
Your beliefs are context for the work, never a symptom of it.
